A poll released this month, conducted by left-leaning Public Policy Polling shows what we have known all along in the wide-open GOP contest to replace U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss – hard-charging Paul Broun is the man!
The poll, commissioned by the lefty guerrilla group Better Georgia, has fighter Rep. Paul Broun with double digit leads over his competitors… and as the Tea Party champion in this race, that has the Vichy GOP Establishment having fits!
This weekend is the end of first quarter FEC reporting for campaign financial contributions – if YOU do your part TODAY you will be supporting the sure winner for U.S. Senate from Georgia, Rep. Paul Broun, MD!
PPP found Broun at 27 percent in the GOP contest, with status quo Republican Rep. Phil Gingrey of Marietta at 14 percent, Rep. Jack Kingston of Savannah at 13 percent and businessman David Perdue at 12 percent. Former Secretary of State Karen Handel notched 9 percent in the question, which involved only those who identified themselves as GOP primary voters. About one quarter of respondents were undecided.
Lesser-known candidates Art Gardner and Derrick Grayson weren't included in the survey.
The poll got more interesting in head-to-head matchups with Democratic front-runner Michelle Nunn. Respondents had Nunn and Broun at a 38 percent deadlock, and Nunn with slight leads over Kingston, Handel and Gingrey. So much for "moderate" Republican candidate magic. A matchup between Nunn and Perdue was apparently not queried.
The poll involved 580 voters surveyed between March 5-6. Roughly half of the respondents said they generally vote in GOP primaries and 41 percent vote in Democratic contests. Some 49 percent favored Mitt Romney in 2012, compared to 43 percent who backed Barack Obama.
The five best-known GOP candidates are in a tight race to keep the Senate seats in Republicans hands. A loss to Nunn, the daughter of former U.S. Sen. Sam Nunn, would make it more difficult for the GOP to wrest control of the Senate from Democrats.
Paul Broun, M.D. – current Congressman from Georgia's 10th District – also recently picked up a key endorsement from our friends at The Madison Project. Now his opponents on BOTH sides of the aisle are turning up the heat in their effort to derail this truly grassroots, conservative candidate. They are trying to paint his support for impeaching Barack Hussein as radical.
Also the fact that he puts stock in his Judeo-Christian faith – the one and the same shared by our Founding Fathers and upon which our Constitution is anchored – when making decisions as an elected official. They also really can't stand that he would raffle off an AR15 rifle "assault weapon" as part of a fundraiser…
And that's just the Left.

This Marine Corps / Navy Reserve Veteran is the real deal and exactly the "change" we need in Washington; a leader who "walks the walk." Active duty LCDR-USNR, he served in Afghanistan's Helmand Province in 2012.

The GOP establishment does NOT want U.S. Rep. Paul Broun to advance to the Senate. After all, Broun recently came out fighting against the Ryan budget betrayal in the House, where he has at the same time fought ObamaCare at every opportunity.
The GOP maneuvering came after a judge moved up Georgia's Senate primary date by three weeks to accommodate our military men and women overseas in the event of a run-off election. That date was June 3.
Then, the Georgia GOP thought that they would make it even earlier, May 20, before school is out and before vacation season hits full swing… They think that a larger GOP turnout will result in victory for a more "moderate" candidate – just the kind to fall in line with their "leadership" masters on Capitol Hill! They did this even though Georgia voters have proven in poll after poll that they PREFER CONSERVATIVES WILLING TO FIGHT… AND THAT WOULD BE PAUL BROUN!
The GOP wants a milquetoast candidate a la Mitt Romney to win the primary and they think that their little ruse to cut short grassroots' groundwork for a true conservative like Broun is enough for them to win with national party money. In fact, they are putting their full weight behind David Perdue, who has a mere 5 percent in the polls – the lowest of ALL Republican candidates!
THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR "POWER PLAY" ABOVE THE WILL AND INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE!
They want you to forget that U.S Marine Corps Veteran Paul Broun was the first Member of Congress to call out Barack Hussein Obama for being a socialist and for pushing his false utopia of government-run healthcare and wealth redistribution on Americans. During his term as one of Georgia's U.S. Representatives, Broun made it his duty on Capitol Hill to cast every vote to stop the government spending run amok – and now he wants to take that same critical mission to the U.S. Senate in 2014.
There is no doubt that WE MUST START THE SENATE RESTORATION NOW! A physician by trade trained by the Navy and the Medical College of Georgia – and a jet engine mechanic in the Marines – Broun is a God-fearing Christian who still serves each and every one of us and our country in the Reserves. He serves because he believes it is his duty to serve God and Country!
But make no mistake – this Marine won't be playing nice when it comes to balancing the budget and slashing wasteful spending. And he's already for battle with all of Barack Obama's big spending Big Government underlings and sycophants.
In fact, Broun has a simple, all-American four way test to make sure his vote is cast according to conservative principle:

2. Do we need it?

4. Is it the right thing to do?
As a close friend with Tea Party favorite Florida's Lt. Colonel Allen West and an unwavering ally of Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and now retired Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina, Broun is running for this Senate seat to work for AMERICA – not for the Commie-in-Chief and certainly not for a nanny-state Republican Establishment.
Paul Broun is Constitutional conservatism at its finest – faithful to the Constitution, this country and the people he was elected to serve.
